Delete branch "mastodon/auto-clean-7-days"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Currently we keep everything for 30 days, which is about 180GB. This is just the cache of our mastodon server, in case a user opens a toot with non-cached media, even after cleaning up, it will just be re-fetched.
Are we running out of space or is this just expensive? 180GB is a lot for sure
Billing-wise we're still at ~6$ for March 2024. I'd like to keep this down if possible, I believe UX impact of this change is minimal.
EDIT: To be clear, these 180GB do not live on nachtigall, this is a S3 service provided by storj.io.
