There are more distributors listed here: https://unifiedpush.org/users/distributors/. They all have some problem:

  • ntfy: It doesn't support SSO. You have to configure users individually or let it run without any authentication.
  • sunup: No support for authentication
  • Conversations: requires an XMPP server
  • gCompat-UP: Uses google.

It seemed scary to run a service without authentication, so I decided to go with NextPush.
